Lenovo has quietly introduced A7-30 tablet with 7-inch display, MediaTek mobile chipset, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and 3G SIM support.

Lenovo India has quietly introduced a new budget tablet – Lenovo A7-30 – for the Indian masses. The new Lenovo A7-30 packs 7-inch display, quad-core mobile chipset and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Priced at Rs 9,979, the Lenovo A7-30 will let you enjoy mobile web with a high speed network enabled SIM module. As per the Lenovo’s online store the Lenovo A7-30 is up for pre-order and starts shipping from today onwards.

Lenovo’s new A7-30 tablet offers a 7-inch touchscreen display with 1024×600 pixel resolution and supports multi-touch. Under the chassis, the tablet is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MTK 8382M mobile chipset paired with 1 GB RAM. The tablet packs 8 GB storage with a memory card slot to add up to another 32 GB micro SD storage. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and there is no word on the Android 4.4 KitKat.

At the back, the tablet has a 2 megapixel camera and in its front there is a 0.3 megapixel camera for video calls. Other features of Lenovo A7-30 include Bluetooth, WiFi support, SIM slot, GPS with and packs 3500 battery. By default, the tablet promises usage time of about 8 hours.
