Lenovo A5000 has been launched in Russia RUB 12,000 (approximately Rs. 14,500) and has also been listed on Lenovo’s UAE website but there was no announcement for the Indian market. However, noted Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom has claimed (via Twitter and Facebook) that the Lenovo A5000 has been introduced in India for just Rs 10,250.
The noted feature of Lenovo A5000 is its huge 4000 mAh battery which claimed to offer up to 17 hours of talk time and up to 33.5 days of standby time on 3G networks. The Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system based Lenovo A5000 has a 5 inch IPS display with high definition resolution. It is armed with the 1.3 Ghz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB inbuilt storage, and 32 GB micro SD card slot.
The Lenovo A5000 has dual SIM with dual standby feature but it doesn’t support 4G network, so you have to rely on 3G only. Besides, it has Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, and GPS with A-GPS. The A5000 measures 71.4mm x 9.98mm x 140mm and weighs 160 grams. For shutterbugs, it offers an 8 megapixel auto focus camera and an LED flash light in the back panel and a 2 megapixel fixed focus front camera. It comes in black and white colours.
