LeEco to launch new phone on June 29, might have 8GB RAM and 25MP camera

As per media reports, the LeEco phone will have upcoming Snapdragon 823 octa core processor.

As reported earlier, LeEco is working on its next flagship device, which could succeed the Le Max 2 smartphone. Now the company has released a teaser to announce the curtain-raiser event of its upcoming smartphone, which is scheduled for June 29, and will be held in Shanghai, China.

Few days back, the render images of the alleged LeEco phone were published on many websites as per which the upcoming smartphone will come in Red, Blue and Silver colours.

As per earlier reports, the LeEco’s upcoming flagship smartphone will have whopping 8GB RAM. It reportedly will come with yet to be announced Snapdragon 823 (formally known as 821) 64-bit quad-core as well as a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. Further, as per reports, the smartphone will have a 25-megapixel rear camera and will cost around 3000 Yaun (approximately Rs 30,631).

As of now this much of information is available right now. However, we will keep you posted as soon as we get more information about LeEco’s next flagship device.

Just to recall, the Le Max 2 smartphone was launched in India last week. The Le Max 2 comes in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM models which are priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 29,999 respectively. It has a 5.7-inch touchscreen has Quad HD resolution and is powered by the 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, 4GB/6GB RAM. The Le Max 2 has 64GB internal storage. The smartphone too runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a 3,100mAh battery battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

There is a 21-megapixel shooter in the back panel of Le Max 2 along with a dual-tone flash light. For selfies, it comes with an 8-megapixel front camera. Further, the smartphone offers slots, LTE with VoLTE, WiFi, 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, USB port (can be used as an audio port), and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
