LeEco will launch its latest smartphones, Le Pro 3 and Le S3, in India this December. Yesterday at an event in San Francisco, which marked the entry of LeEco in the US market, Le Pro 3 and Le S3 smartphones were unveiled for the US market.
Spokesperson of LeEco said to The Mobile Indian, “We plan to launch Le Pro 3 and Le S3 in December in India.”
However, he did not reveal their prices or the exact date of launch for the Indian market. It is expected the smartphones will be priced somewhere between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25000.
LeEco entered the Indian market earlier this year with Le 1s, Le Max and Le Max Sapphire. Later it brought the Le 1S Eco, Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones.
Coming back to the new Le Pro 3, the phone has a 5.5-inch screen and features brushed metal backing and a tough Corning Gorilla Glass screen with 2.5D curved edges. It has dual speakers surround sound powered by Dolby Atmos and Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology which offer high-quality sound through a USB-C connection instead of a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. It has a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, a fingerprint sensor and 4070 mAh battery unit. The phone has a 16 MP rear-facing camera and an 8 MP front-facing . It the US market it will available for $399 (Rs 26,631).
On the other hand, Android 6.0 based Le S3 has an all-metal unibody and a 5.5-inch screen. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 652. It too offers a 16 MP main and an 8 MP front camera. In the US it has got a price tag of $249 (Rs 16,619 approximately). It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage and a 3,000 mAh battery.
