Lava has silently launched two new smartphones, Lava X50 and Lava X17, priced at Rs 8,699 and 6,899 respectively. Both the phones are listed on company’s official website but as of now are not available for purchase. Lava X 17 comes in Black Gold, White Gold, Champaign Gold and Black Steel colors while Lava X50 comes in Blue color only.
The Lava X50 features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) IPS display thus offering pixel density of 267 ppi. It is armed with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a 32GB micro SD card slot. The Lava X50 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system but Lava is promising to upgrade it to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone has a 2800 mAh battery with Power Saver Mode.
The Lava X50 has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel wide angle selfie camera on the front. Both the camers come with LED flash light support. The rear camera has features like Face Beauty, Panaroma mode, and Digital Zoom. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM (4G + 4G), 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, a Micro USB port, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor. The phone has additional features Auto Call Recording, Flip to Mute, 12 Indian languages Support, Smart Gestures, 5 Point Touch. The handset measures 155*71.8*8.85mm.
On the other hand, the Lava X17 has a 5-inch IPS display that comes with 1280 x 720 pixels Resolution and thus offers pixel density of 294ppi. It has a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek which is coupled with 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. You can add up to 32GB to its memory via a micro SD card. Based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, the Lava X17 draws its power from a 2350 mAh battery.
The Lava X17 offers an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera. Besides, the smartphone has two SIM card slots (4G+4G) and offers 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB 2.0 port, Accelerometer sensor as well. It has additional features like Smart gestures, 12 languages Support, Slow motion and time lapse video, Face beauty. The handset measures 145*72*8.5mmmm.
