Indian handset manufacturer, Lava will soon bring a series of handsets under its new series, called Iris Pro.
Though Lava did not reveal much about the Iris Pro handsets in its teaser campaign on Facebook, sources familiar with the development told The Mobile Indian that the new series will have devices priced between Rs 13,000 to Rs 15,000.
The Lava Iris Pro series will focus on new design strategy – the use of metallic elements to make the phones look classy as well as tough. As per the teaser, the Lava Iris Pro series phones will come with 1.2 GHz quad core processor, ultra sleek look and HD display.
The flagship device under the Iris Pro series is expected to come with a 5 inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixel) resolution. Besides, it would run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Along with that is likely to get hardware features similar to the earlier flagship, the Lava Iris 504Q, such as 1 GB RAM, 4-8 GB of internal memory, and 32 GB micro SD card slot.
The flagship Lava Iris Pro handset is also likely to get a 13 Megapixel main camera, which will be capable of capturing video in 1080p resolution, and a 2 megapixel front camera.
