Lava has launched Iris 430, an Android 4.0 operating system based smartphone with 4.3 inch display offering WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) resolution, for Rs 7,500. The phone runs on a 1 GHz dual core processor and 512 MB RAM. Lava Iris 430 has a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and comes with video recording capability at 30 frames per second. There is also a VGA camera in the front.
The phone has a 1400 mAh battery with claimed talk time of 4.9 hours. It also has GPS, WiFi, 3G, proximity sensor etc. The phone comes with 4 GB inbuilt memory and a Memory card slot with support for up to 32 GB. The Iris 430 comes with 1 year warranty.
