Indian smartphone maker, Lava has silently launched a smarphone, Iris X1 Selfie, for Rs 6,777.
As the name suggests, the USP of the phone is its cameras – an 8 megapixel rear camera unit that comes along with a LED flash light and a front facing 5 megapixel camera which too has the backing of an LED flash light to enhance the quality of selfies. There are multiple capture modes and features available for rear and front camera as well.
This Lava Iris X1 Selfie comes with 4.5-inch IPS display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor. There is 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot in the phone.
Lava Iris X1 Selfie runs on latest Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and is backed up by 2,000 mAh Li-polymer battery that claims to offer 13 hours of talktime on 2G network while on 3G it said to offer 8 hours and 30 minutes of talktime. Besides, the handset has WiFi (b/g/n), micro USB port, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and FM with recording facility.
Lava Iris X1 Selfie comes in three colours-Black, White and Purple. The handset measures 133.5mm X 66.0mm X 8.5 mm and weighs 140 grams.
