Lava has expanded its Iris smartphone portfolio with the addition of Iris Fuel F1 Mini. Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini is listed on the company’s website at Rs 4,399 and is likely to hit the markets soon though no timeline has been provided by Lava.
Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini has a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display. It is powered by 1 GHz single-core Processor which is paired with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
For storage, the Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini offers 8 GB of internal storage which is further expandable to up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone is packed with 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery that claims to provide 19 hours of talk time and 157 hours of standby time. It provides 9 hours of talk time on 3G network.
The Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini comes with a 5-megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash and it has Panaroma and HDR s camera features. It has a VGA front facing camera.
The handset offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini measures 125.5 x 63.4 x 10.85mm and weighs 120 grams.
Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini is available in Black and White colour options. At this price, Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini smartphone competes against Micromax’s recently launched Canvas Spark 2 and Intex Cloud V, both priced at Rs 3,999. Micromax Canvas Spark 2 is far better than Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini and Intex Cloud V as far as processor, memory and operating system are concerned.

Earlier this month Lava launched Lava Pixel V2 at Rs 10,750.
The Android Lollipop 5.1 based Lava Pixel V2 has a 5 inch touchscreen with high definition (720p) Resolution and Asahi Dragontail Glass that should protect it from scratches. The smartphone is powered by a 64 bit MediaTek quad core processor and 2GB DDR3 RAM. The device has 16 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB.
The Lava Pixel V2 has dual SIM slot offering 4G connectivity (one 4G slot running at a time) and dual standby. It packs a 2500 mAh Li-Po battery. The Pixel V2 has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8 megapixel ‘selfie’ camera which too comes with an LED flash.
