Lava Mobiles has started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Iris 504Q+ smartphone. The new update brings several improvements and bug fixes under the hood. The Iris 504Q+ smartphone was introduced in India for Rs 13,990 with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is now priced at Rs 11,900.
Lava Iris 504Q+ is a Dual-SIM smartphone with standby support and offers 5-inch HD IPS OGS display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. This smartphone runs quad-core 1.3 Ghz mobile Chipset with coupled Mali 400 MP2 and 1 GB RAM. The Iris 504Q+ has 10 Megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor and 2 megapixel camera in the front.
From Android 4.2 KitKat update, the phone will leapfrog the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update and get the features of the Android 4.4 KitKat the promises improved overall performance.
The Iris 504Q+ users are recommended to download the Android 4.4 KitKat update over a Wi-Fi network. On the phone, open the settings app, go to About Phone and select System Updates to check if you have got the new update or not.
