Lava Iris 406Q, which was spotted by The Mobile Indian sometime back, has been launched for Rs 7,499. The Iris 406Q runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update out of the box and is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat version.
Lava Iris 406q has a 4-inch display with 480×800 pixel resolution. It comes with a 1.3 GHz quad-core mobile processor, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB on-board storage. Its Memory card slot can support up to 32 GB micro SD card.
The Iris 406q has a 5 Megapixel camera at the back with LED flash but is a fixed focus unit. The camera App offers HDR Mode, Burst Mode, Panorama mode and can record 720p (HD) videos too. There is a front facing VGA camera in the phone for video calls.
Lava has loaded the stock Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version in the Iris 406q and promises to release the Android 4.4 KitKat update in the near future. Other than that the phone comes with Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi Support, and GPS with A-GPS support. There is the standard 3.5 mm audio port and Micro USB 2.0 port on the device as well.
The Iris 406Q offers dual SIM configuration of which one slot supports high speed 3G network while the other is meant for 2G Network. Lava has packed a 1700 mAh battery inside the Iris 406Q.
