Lava has silently launched the Lava A93 smartphone. The phone has been launched at Rs 7,999 and is currently listed on Lava’s official website with full specifications. The Lava A93 in Gold and Grey colour options.
The Lava A93 has a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, thereby offering pixel density of 267 ppi. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor which is clubbed with 2GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The Lava A93 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable by up to 32GB via micro SD card. On the camera front, it has an 8-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with HDR, Photo Timer, Grid and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras feature LED flash.

The smartphone is powered by a 3000 mAh removable battery with Power Saver Mode. The smartphone has been launched with Android Marshmallow when even cheaper phones are coming with the latest Android Nougat. One of the other drawbacks of Lava A93 is that it also doesn’t support 4G which is a standard feature in even cheaper smartphones now.
