Lava A89 gets Android Marshmallow update

When most of the handset players are getting ready to roll out Android 7.0 update, Lava has announced the roll out of Android Marshmallow update for the Lava A89 smartphone. The update is available over the air. The smartphone was launched in April this year with pre-installed Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. This 4G smartphone is priced at Rs 5,999 and comes in Black & White colour options.

As far as specifications are concerned, Lava A89 features a 5-inch TFT display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad Core processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable via microSD card. On its camera front, the smartphone offers a 5-megapiaxel primary camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Both the camera comes with LED flashlight. The camera features include HDR, Photo Timer, Grid, and Digital Zoom. T

Lava A89 gets its strength from 2000 mAh Li-ion battery, which claims to offer 14 hours 15 minutes of talk time on 2G network. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G, Wifi (802.11 b/g/n ), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a microUSB port. The handset measures 145.5*72*9.1mm and weighs 157 grams. Moreover, it also hasVideo PIP feature which allows you to watch videos and work simultaneously.
