Lava has silently launched its latest budget friendly 3G smartphone, dubbed as Lava A59. The smartphone is found listed on the company’s website for Rs 4,199. As of now there is no information on its availability. However, we would expect this smartphone to be available for purchase in the coming days. The smartphone comes in Black and White color options.
The Lava A59 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (800x480p) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone comes with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a 32G micro SD card slot. The Lava A59 runs on Android 5.1-Lollipop operating system and gets its power from a 1750 mAh Li-ion, which claims to deliver up-to 32 hours of audio playback at full Loudness in earphone mode and up-to 19 hours of audio playback at full Loudness in Speaker mode.
It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA (0.3) front camera. It has flash light in both front and rear panels to support the cameras. The rear camera offers Digital Zoom, HDR, Photo Timer, and Grid features. Moreover, the Lava A59 offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, a MicroUSB port, Accelerometer, Torch, Sound Recorder, Smart Gestures, and Smart Screenshot. The handset measures 134 x 66 x 9.3 mm and weighs 140 grams.
Earlier in the day, Lava A48 smartphone was found listed on company’s official website with features and specifications. However, there is no information on pricing and availability mentioned on the website. The Lava A48 features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) capacitive multi-touch display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and expandable memory up-to 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is packed with 1300mAh battery.
The smartphone sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA (0.3MP) Resolution camera on the front. Besides, the Lava A48 offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, a MicroUSB port, 3.5mm Audio Jack, web browsing, on-line chat, e-mail, Clock, Alarm, and Calculator. The handset measures 125.8 X 64 X 9.9 mm and weighs 116.4 grams with battery, 87.5g without battery.
