Lava has today launched two new budget smartphones, the Lava A50 and Lava A55. Both the smartphones come with pretty similar specifications and are priced at Rs 3,999 (A50) and Rs 4,399 (A55). As of now, both the smartphones are available in Black and Silver colour options on the company’s official website.
Talking about the specifications, both the smartphones come with a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. While the A50 comes with 512MB of RAM, the A55 comes with 1GB of RAM. Digging inside, both the devices are powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor combined with 8GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, both the smartphones come with a 5-megapixel primary camera coupled with a LED flash. At the front, we also get a VGA front camera. For the juice, both the devices sport 1550 mAh battery and the company claims that both the devices can offer up to 9 hours of talk time on 2G. Also, there is no 4G connectivity on both the smartphones. Other connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Lastly, both the devices look exactly the same and measures at 123 x 63.4 x 9.65 mm.
