In the last week there have been quite a few device launches in India. To be exact, seven smartphone and two tablets were launched. The cheapest being Lenovo Tab 2 A7 10 which come s with a price tag of Rs 4,999.
The brands which have launched the above mentioned devices are Samsung, Lenovo, Celkon, HP and BlackBerry. Here is synopsis for all the devices launched this week.
The Lenovo A6000 comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display with a ppi of 294 ppi. The Lenovo A6000 runs on Android KitKat with Vibe 2.0 UI. It has a quad-core processing unit clocked at 1.2 GHz, alongside 1 GB of RAM. The Internal Memory is 8 GB, to which another 32 GB can be added via a microSD card. The 8 megapixel camera is equipped with face detection, auto-focus, HDR, flash, etc. The front has a 2 megapixel fixed focus selfie taker.
The Lenovo A6000 not only has 4G, it also has GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, etc. The 2300 mAh battery is claimed to have 22 hours of Talk time and 264 hours of standby.

The HP Steam 8 has an 8 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The HP Stream 8 is armed with 1.8 GHz quad-core processor 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB in-built storage besides an expandable slot for up to 32 GB micro SD card. It has a 5 megapixel front camera with auto-focus etc, and a 2 megapixel front camera for video calling, etc. The HP Stream 8 has a single SIM card slot and has connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi, etc. The 4000 mAh battery is claimed to provide 8 hours and 20 minutes of play time.

The Blackberry Classic is a return to the old Blackberry days, with a QWERTY keypad, optical trackpad, and a 3.5 inch display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. Blackberry Classic, runs Blackberry 10.3 OS, and has a dual-core 1.5 GHz which runs with 2 GB of RAM. The 8 megapixel primary camera has auto-focus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, panorama, flash, etc. It also records videos at 1080p at 30 fps. The secondary camera is a 2 megapixel sensor. The internal memory is 16 GB, and another 128 GB can be added via an microSD card. This single SIM device has 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and even NFC.
