Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, Kawasaki has introduced a new Pearl Lava Orange colour variant to its mid-size cruiser bike Vulcan S in India. The machine was launched last year in December, at a price tag of Rs 5.48 lakh (ex-showroom).
At the time of launch, the motorcycle was only available in Black colour paint scheme, and after the positive response by the Indian market, the brand has decided to add a new colour trim as well.
Powered by the 649cc displacement, liquid-cooled, parallel twin Fuel Injection engine, which is capable of generating maximum power of 61 PS, with the peak torque of 63 Nm. The bike is mated to a 6-speed transmission gearbox.
The cruiser rides on 41mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and an 80mm offset laydown single-shock at the rear, For safety, the Vulcan S comes with a 300mm front disc brake and a 250 mm disk.
As far as dimensions are concerned, the Vulcan S measures 2310 mm in length, 855 mm in width and 1090 mm in height. The rider sits at the height of 705 mm with the ground clearance of 130mm.
