Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, Kawasaki is offering a discounton its four machines under the Ninja series in India. These discounts extend from Rs 60,000 to Rs 4 lakh on the Ninja 300, ZX-10RR, Z1000, and the Z1000 R.
According to a report by Autocar, the brand is offering discounts to its customers in an attempt to clear out the 2017 stock. It is believed, that the brand has plenty amount of previous year manufactured Ninja 300 units, however, other models are limited in number.
The brand’s entry-level sports bike, Ninja 300 gets a discount of Rs 60,000 and is now priced at Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). Launched in March 2017, the Ninja ZX-10RR receives a price cut of Rs 4 lakh and it is now available for Rs 17.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Moving to the Z1000 and the Z1000R, the twins now comes with a discount of Rs 3 lakh, making them up for a grab for Rs 12.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 13.10 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
Recollecting some specifications, the Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc displacement, 2-cylinder, liquid cooled FI engine, which is capable of producing 39 bhp of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The bike is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Ninja ZX-10RR is a 4-cylinder, 998cc displacement machine, which chunks the power of 197.20 bhp at 13,000 rpm and torque of 113.50 Nm at 11,500 rpm. The bike accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, with the claimed maximum speed of 299 kmph.
