Indian mobile phone manufacturer Karbonn Mobiles has unveiled its latest tablet product the Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade tablet for the Indian market. Karbonn Blade is the company’s first ever sub-Rs 5,000 tablet that comes with a capacitive touch display and a 1.2 GHz Processor as well. The Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade is based on Google Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that offers maximum possible applications for the device. The tablet comes in direct competition with other low cost devices such as Micromax Alpha and Datawind UBI Slate.
Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade comes with a 1.2 GHz processor and Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 operating system. The device features 512 MB of RAM memory, which will be good enough for daily tasks and gaming as well. Blade has a 7 inch capacitive touch display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The tablet features 3G connectivity via USB dongles, and supports WiFi as well.
The Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade comes with 1 GB onboard storage along with 32 GB of additional storage available via Micro SD memory cards. The device comes with a 2800 mAh rating battery pack that should be good enough for a day of work. There is a 2 Megapixel main camera that supports video calling as well as low resolution video recording at a mere 15 frames per second.
The tablet is available for Rs 4,968 on Infibeam.com and users can also purchase the device at local retail chains and other online dealers, but this price is only available on Infibeam.
