Karbonn K9 Smart 4G with Android Marshmallow launched at Rs 4,777

The smartphone is available for purchase exclusively through Snapdeal.

With VoLTE being one of the top priorities these days for smartphone manufacturers, Karbonn has launched a bumped up variant of Karbonn K9 Smart, which was launched back in January 2016. The new Karbonn K9 Smart 4G smartphone is priced at Rs 4,777 and is available for purchase exclusively through Snapdeal. Moreover, the smartphone comes in Black Sandstorm, Black Silver, Grey Sandstorm colour options, of which Grey Sandstorm colour option is not available for purchase as yet.

While there must be a good reason for it, on the face of it, the idea of going exclusive for a low value handset with an online retailer seems to be a questionable strategy, as neither can it be promoted heavily nor will it do volumes online. Our guess is, the firm probably has limited quantities available. So does that mean you should rush to buy it? Read on.
