Jio’s welcome offer has been extended until march 31st , 2107 and has been rebranded as “Jio Happy New Year Offer.”
Under this offer, all the Jio subscribers, existing and new ones will be entitled to Jio’s Data, Voice, Video and the full bouquet of Jio applications and content, absolutely free, up to 31 March 2017. The benefits will be available to all subscribers signing up for Jio services up to 3 March 2017.
Data consumption gets a limit
Keeping in view, disproportionately use of data by some users under Welcome offer, Jio has capped the high-speed-data limit to 1 GB per day per user, following which the speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps. This step has been taken to ensure that all the Jio users get superior data experience. If one wants to avail high-speed data post the daily limit one has an option to choose from different tariff options.
Jio Money and Jio Money Merchant Solution
Jio Money, the digital wallet of Jio, will be expanding its footprints to millions of touch points where Aadhar based micro-ATMs will be deployed. Jio also announced the launch of the Jio Money Merchant Solution. This solution provides access to Jio’s suite of services, including customised offerings such as digital money, for a very important segment of the Indian economy. This will enable digital transactions of all types, whether they be at Mandis, small shops, restaurants, Railway ticket counters, for Bus and mass transit and even for person-to-person money transfers.
