Itel has launched a new tablet in India called the Itel Pad One. It is the first ever tablet from the brand and comes with specifications such as a Unisoc processor, 4GB RAM and more. It aims to compete with the Redmi Pad, Realme Pad Mini, Moto Tab G60 and other options in the Indian market. Read on to know more about the device.
Itel Pad One: Price
The iTel Pad One carries a price tag of Rs 12,999. It is offered in Deep Grey and Light Blue colours. The tablet can be purchased from the brand’s official website and leading offline stores across the nation.
Itel Pad One: Specifications
The Itel Pad One sports a 10.1-inch display with an HD+ resolution. It sports a metal unibody and a square-shaped camera island on the back panel which carries a 5MP main sensor paired with an LED flash. On the front, the tablet has an 8MP Wide-Angle shooter. The device features dual speakers.
Under the hood, the iTel Pad One comes with a Unisoc SC9863A1 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot for additional needs.
The tablet packs a 6,000mAh battery unit with support for 10W charging. It runs on Android 12 Go Edition out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, and OTG support.
Itel Pad One: Competition
The Itel Pad One tries to compete with offerings from Realme, Redmi, Nokia and even Motorola in India. In particular, the Nokia T10 and Realme Pad Mini come closest to the Itel Pad One if we compare their prices.
If we compare their specs, both the Nokia and Realme tablets get a Unisoc Tiger series Chipset which is slightly better than the one on Itel Pad One. However, the Itel Pad One gets the biggest display out of the lot, and also has the highest amount of in-built storage at 128GB whereas Nokia and Realme offer just 32GB in their base models.
The Pad One from Itel has a battery size bigger than Nokia’s tablet but smaller than Realme’s tablet. The Itel pad also has a USB-C port for 10W charging. Realme’s Pad Mini gets higher 18W Fast charging support but that shouldn’t make big of a difference. Moreover, you also get 4G LTE support which is optional on both Nokia’s and Realme’s products.
In conclusion, the Itel Pad One is actually a decent offering for what price it is being offered at. It does go ahead of its competitors in some aspects and proves to be a worthy competitor, at least on paper.
