Itel has today announced the launch of its latest entry-level smartphone, the Itel A44 Air, in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 4999 and it will be for purchase in the country starting from today.
The company claims that the new smartphone with an AI-enabled dual camera setup at the rear, which is probably one of the first in this segment. There is an AI Face Beauty mode meant for the rear camera setup that adjusts itself according to different lighting conditions. Then there is an AI Super Night mode that helps in taking low-light shots.
The dual-camera setup at the back comes with a combination of a 5-megapixel primary lens and a 0.08-megapixel of a secondary shooter. For the front, there is a 2-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The Itel A44 Air is equipped with a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ display with a screen Resolution of 960 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core SC9832E clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
The phone is juiced up by a 2000mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Ore (Go Edition). On the connectivity front, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM, GPS and microUSB port. The device will be available in Blusher Gold, Elegant Blue and Slate Grey colour options.
