A new Jio dongle has been launched, if reports are to be believed. Actually, a Twitter user – Yatin Chawla – posted a picture of a dongle which he said is that of the new Reliance Jio dongle. 
Being a dongle and not a WiFi hotspot device, it doesn’t come with any built-in battery so one has to either plug into a laptop or any other power source in order to use it. As per Chawla, the Jio Dongle 2 is currently selling at Rs 1,999.
Well, there has been no confirmation from Reliance Jio about the Jio Dongle 2 but that is what is expected from the company given the case with JioFi 2.
Reliance Jio launched the second version of JioFi earlier this month at Rs 1,999 with a larger 2600 mAh battery and an OLED display which shows the power on/ off status, the amount of battery life left, the 4G signal strength, and WiFi signal strength. The design also saw some change and the new JioFi device was relatively bigger.
Nevertheless, if the Jio Dongle 2 sells at Rs 1,999 than the JioFi 2 is a much better deal as it has its own battery pack ensuring you can use it anywhere.
