Notably, Apple is thinking of introducing iPad2 officially in Indian in next two weeks. And the appearance on the Homeshop18 (a network 18 group website) is an indication that we were right when we said iPad 2 to hit Indian stores in April?.

The new iPad, which is thinner than an iPhone 4, boasts faster processing speeds and sports two cameras for Apple’s FaceTime feature. Its A5 is a dual-core processor, compared with the single-core A4 of the first one, memory has also been upgraded from 256MB to 512 in the iPad2.

While iPad1 was only recently introduced in India officially, it is likely to be updated soon, as Indian consumer is obviously not ready to accept an outdated product from any manufacturer. And with so many other options like Samsung Galaxy tab already available, Indian consumer has better options too.
