Intex Technologies has launched its new affordable smartphone, Intex Aqua Young, for Rs 5,090. The smartphone is available in dark grey, white, and champagne color variants.
The Intex Aqua Young features a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass coating on top. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core (SC7731 chipset) processor paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali 400MP GPU. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Intex Aqua Young comes with 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up-to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone sports an 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA resolution) front camera. The camera comes with various features like slow motion video recording, panorama, Vol up/down key for capturing image, and capture image during recording.
Intex Aqua Young backed up by 2500mAh battery which claims to deliver 9.30 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers Dual SIM (GSM+GSM), 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS with AGPS, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Micro USB, and Bluetooth. The handset measures 145.3 x 72 x 9.5 mm and weighs 158 grams.
Recently, Intex had launched its new entry-level smartphone, the Intex Aqua Play for Rs 3,249. The smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and packed with 1400mAh battery. The handset has 0.3-megapixel camera in both its front and rear panels.
