Intex Aqua S2 coming with Android Marshmallow, Fingerprint scanner at Rs 5,499

If you are looking for an affordable smartphone with fingerprint sensor, then wait a bit longer. Actually, today we found an Intex smartphone called Aqua S2 on the company’s website. The phone, which comes with a fingerprint sensor, is listed at just Rs 5,499. We have also found the same smartphone listed on Indian import and export website, Zauba. Ofcourse, the phone is yet to be launched and is not available from any other e-retailer either but since it has been listed on Intex’s website, it is just a matter of time before the company announces its launch.

As per the listing, the Intex Aqua S2 has a 5-inch FWVGA (480 X 854 pixels) display with of 196ppi. It is 32-bit quad-core Spreadtrum processor, which is paired with Mali-400MP GPU. The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It has a 2450 mAh battery, which claims to deliver talk time of up-to 5 hours and stand by time of 110 hours. The device also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on the back panel of the phone.

The Aqua S2 comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 32GB via micro SD card. The device sports a 5-megapixel camera module on its back, as well as on the front. The rear camera comes with LED flash light. Besides, the Aqua S2 offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), 2.1, GPS/AGPS, a port, Emergency Rescue, Smart Gesture, and G-sensor. The phone also comes with pre-loaded apps like Intex Service, Daily Hunt, Newspoint, Saavn, Opera Mini, LFTY, Matrabhasha, and Online Software Update(FOTA) . The handset measures 146.4 x 73 x 9.65 mm and weighs 153.8 grams. The Aqua S2 will come in three different colors- Champagne, White, and Grey.
