Intex has introduced a new smartphone in its Aqua series with the launch of Aqua Prime 4G. Price at Rs 6,555, the smartphone will be available in white, grey and champagne gold colour variants.
The smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and pixel density of 269 ppi. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz along with Mali 760 GPU. The phone is backed by a 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Aqua Prime 4G features an 8-megapixel rear camera with aperture f/2.2, while for the front, there is a 2-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. On the software front, it comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 2800mAh battery, which the company boasts can give up to 11 hours of Talk time and 500 hours of standby time.
On the connectivity front, the device support Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, audio jack, 4G LTE and microUSB port. The smartphone measures 154.5x 77.5x 8.3mm, and the smartphone weighs 158 grams.
If we compare it with the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, then it looks a tad expensive with the specifications it boasts. The Redmi 4A comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999 and offers some top-of-the-line specs at this price segment, which has finally set a standard for this price segment.
