Indian handset brand, Intex will launch a smartphone called Aqua GenX next week for less than Rs 14,000. It will available in retail shops by October 15.
Intex Aqua GenX has a 5.5-inch FHD display and runs on a 1.3 GHz octa core processor of Mediatek. The smartphone has 2GB RAM, 16 GB Internal Memory which can be further expanded to 128GB via a micro SD card.
The Aqua GenX has a 13 Megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera. It will come preloaded with Android 5.1. On the connectivity front, it has 4G and on the go (OTG) support. It has a 2850 mAh battery. This smartphone will come with a one-year screen breakage warranty.
While talking to the Mobile Indian, a spokesperson of Intex said, “We have a strong and robust physical distribution network and soon we will start exploring online sales channels as well.â€
He further said that by year-end Intex will be assembling all its smartphones and features phones in its manufacturing unit in Badi (Himachal Pradesh) and soon will start another unit in Greater Noida.
To address poor customer perception about after sales services, Intex is planning to introduce 15 days service commitment to resolve a complaint and if the service center is not able to the solve the problem in the said duration, Intex will replace the phone.
