Intex has launched another affordable smartphone, which is named as Intex Aqua Freedom. The smartphone is listed on the company’s website for Rs 5,790. The smartphone comes in white and black colours.
The Intex Aqua Freedom features a 5-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor (MT6580) which is assisted by 1GB of RAM and ARM Mali400 MP2 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes packed with a 3000mAh Polymer lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer upto 8-12 hrs of talk-time and upto 200- 300 hrs hours of standby-time.
The Aqua Freedom comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by upto 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone offers a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. Besides, the device offers Dual SIM, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ AGPS, and a Micro USB 2.0 port that comes with OTG capability. The handset measures 144.4 x 72.5 x 8.65 mm and weighs 150 grams. It has Gravity, Light and Proximity sensors.
Earlier this week, Intex launched two budget smartphones Aqua Wing and Aqua Raze for Rs 4,599 and Rs 5,199 respectively. Intex Aqua Wing features a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1 GHz quad core processor which is paired with 1 GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash light and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA resolution) front camera. The Intex Aqua Wing comes packed with a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
On the other hand, Intex Aqua Raze features a features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1 GHz quad core processor which is paired with 1 GB of RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and 8GB of internal storage. The handset sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash light and a 2-megapixel front camera. The Intex Aqua Raze packs a 1800 mAh Li-Poly battery.
