Instagram has started rolling out an update announcing that the platform now supports series content on IGTV.

Instagram is rolling out a new tool for creators making IGTV videos. From today, creators will be able to catalogue their IGTV content under a specific series that has a consistent title and theme throughout its list.

Instagram has started rolling out an update announcing that the platform now supports series content on IGTV. With this update, creators on Instagram can organise their videos on a series page and batch videos under a single name to help differentiate it from other videos.

The new tool also allows creators to engage fans and encourage them to turn on notifications for their future content. This will make room for a new distribution channel for a creator’s IGTV videos.

IGTV’s new feature will let users watch videos with continued viewing. This means, viewers can watch an episode from a series and its next episode (if available) will be recommended automatically.

Launched last year,Instagram IGTV plays vertical videosfrom the accounts that you follow. Users will be able to upload vertical videos with a timeframe of up to an hour. Users will also be able to continue previously started videos and be notified every time new content is available. Viewers can swipe through a slew of videos or swipe up to search through the Browse tab for recommended videos, popular videos or the creators that you follow.

Recently, Instagram started rolling outan update to its stable build to bring dark modeon supported devices. The feature can be accessed by turning on the system dark mode on devices running Android 10/9 and iOS 13. The company also launched a newThreads app for messaging your ‘Close Friends’on Instagram.
