The famous photo sharing service, Instagram, on Wednesday announced a new feature – Bookmark to its app. With this new feature, one can now save posts from others on their feed and revisit them later. This is a lot similar to Facebook’s Save Link/Save Post/Save Video feature which lets you save a post and watch it later.
To do this, you will now see a small bookmark icon below every post hitting which will save the post in a new private tab on your profile. Moreover, only you can see the posts saved by you in this tab. At the time of writing this story, we didn’t get the new feature so we request you stay updated on The Mobile Indian website as we post screenshots for the same.
Apart from the bookmark feature, Instagram recently introduced a bunch of new features to its app. One can now like comments by hitting the small ‘heart-shaped’ icon next to the comment. Further, one can also completely disable comments from his/her posts. Other than these, the Facebook-owned photo sharing app recently brought in long-awaited zoom capabilities to the posts. Further, earlier this year, Facebook also introduced ‘Stories’ similar to Snapchat stories. Interestingly, the feature received a fair bit of response and people seems to use the feature more than it was expected.
