InFocus Epic 1 coming soon with deca-core processor

As of now InFocus has not revealed anything about its features and specifications.

InFocus has been teasing about a smartphone from quite a while now. Now InFocus has created a registration page for the upcoming device on its website. In the process, InFocus has also revealed the name of the device. As per the registration page, the device will be launched as InFocus Epic 1.

The teaser reads – “Oh My God !!– It’s a 10”, which points towards a deca core processor (Mediatek currently manufactures deca core CPUs).

However, nothing much is known about this upcoming handset. But it is likely to be priced very competitively considering the company’s focus on budget segment.

InFocus, which entered India in early 2015, has been quite silent for some time now. To re-collect, the last one from InFocus came in August in the form of Bingo 50+. Priced at Rs 7,999, the Bingo 50+ (Infocus Bingo 50 Plus) offers a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720) IPS display, a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, along with 3GB of RAM. The hybrid dual SIM based smartphone comes pre-installed with 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2600 battery.

The Bingo 50+ (Bingo 50 Plus) comes with 16GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 64GB via micro card. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and F 2.2 aperture. For selfies, the smartphone offers an 8-megapixel front camera. For connectivity, the device offers with VoLTE, 4.1, GPS/ AGPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, a 2.0 port, Accelerometer, Gyro-sensor, E-Compass, and Proximity sensor.
