The Infinix Note 5 Stylus which was launched today in India for Rs 15,999 will receive Android 9.0 Pie update in January 2019. Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix India confirmed the development to The Mobile Indian.
The phone has been launched withAndroid 8.1 Oreo, and is part of the Android One programme. TheAndroiod Pie update will bring features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, Slices API, gesture navigation, Digital Wellbeing, new accessibility menu, new screenshot shortcut, easier screen rotation, volume and sound improvements and more to the Infinix Note 5 Stylus.
To recall the specs of Infinix Note 5 Stylus, the device features a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels, 2.5D curved glass and LCD 500 nits. It is powered by 2GHz octa-core MediaTek P23 processor with ARM Mali G71 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which can be further expanded upto 256GB via microSD card slot.
The Infinix Note 5 Stylus features a 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, dual LED flash, and HDR support. For the front panle, the phone has a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and softlight flash, as well as AI modes like AI Bokeh and AI Beauty.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Google’s Android One program and is backed by a 4000mAh of battery with 18W XCharge Fast charging which the company claims can charge the phone completely in just an hour. On the connectivity front, it features dual 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, GLONASS and Micro USB port.
