Infinix Hot 8 launched with 6.52-inch HD+ display, triple rear cameras at Rs 6,999

Infinix Hot 8 runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on XOS 5.0 and it is backed by a 5000mAh battery.

Infinix has today launched Infinix Hot 8 smartphone in India for Rs 6,999. The phone will be exclusively available in India on Flipkart starting from September 12. The Infinix Hot 8 comes in Cosmic Purple and Quetzal Cyan colour options.

The company said that this limited period pricing is valid only till 31st October, 2019. For the launch offers, there is instant cashback offer worth Rs 2,200 in the form of vouchers for Jio customers and ClearTrip coupons worth Rs 3,000.

Infinix Hot 8 features a 6.52-inch display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels along with 2.5D curved glass, 20:9 aspect ratio, 450nits brightness and 90.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 256GB via card slot.

The phone comes with a triple-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a low light sensor. For the front, the company has provided an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 81-degree field of view, 4P lens for selfies and video calling along with a front flash.

The device runs on 9.0 Pie based on XOS 5.0 and it is backed by a 5000mAh battery. The company claims to offer 22.5 hrs Talk-time, 22.5 hrs Music Playback, 14 hrs Video Playback, 18.6 hrs Web Surfing, 11.4 hrs Gaming, 25.4 days Standby time. On the connectivity front, it supports 4g VoLTE, 5.0, WiFi, and port. It also features a fingerprint sensor at the back and face unlock feature. The phone measures 165 x 76.3 x 8.7 mm and weighs 179 grams.
