Infinix Hot 7 Pro with dual-rear camera, Helio P22 chipset launched in India for Rs 8,999

The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999, however, the company is offering Rs 1,000 discount as a part of the launch, which brings down the price to Rs 8,999.

Infinix Mobiles, a part of Transsion Holdings, has today announced the launch of its latest budget-centric smartphone, the Infinix Hot 7 Pro, in India. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999, however, the company is offering Rs 1,000 discount as a part of the launch, which brings down the price to Rs 8,999.

It is important to note that the introductory price is valid from June 17 to June 21. The smartphone will be available from Flipkart and it will be available in Midnight Black and Aqua Blue colour options.

The major highlight of the smartphone is the metal unibody design. The phone is 7.9mm thick and features a 6.19-inch display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 along with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The phone comes with 6GB of and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via card slot. On the camera front, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 along with a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. For the front, it is loaded with a 13-megapixel primary lens along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera comes with Auto Scene Detection with eight scene modes Portrait, AI HDR, AI Beauty, AI Bokeh, Night, Sports, Blue Sky and Text. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and has Face Unlock feature as well.

The smartphone is backed up by non-removable 4,000 battery and runs on Pie 9 with company’s own XOS 5.0 operating system. Connectivity features include Dual SIM, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 5.0, Hotspot, 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. The hone measures 155 x 74.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 165 grams.
