An unaanounced tablet of Samsung, purpotedly named as Galaxy S, has been spotted by SamMobile which claims to got it hands on few promotional images of the tablet.
The website has also claimed that the tablet is a premium tablet with top end hardware inside such as high resolution bearing AMOLED display, octa-core Samsung Exynos processor, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. As per reports, the Galaxy S Tablet is to be launched on June 12 at the Samsung Unpacked event.
Samsung already offers the Galaxy Tab line up of tablets that includes 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch screen display bearing tablets. Samsung had also introduced the Galaxy Note series tablets with Stylus. Recently it launched the Galaxy Note PRO as well.
Now Samsung is set to introduce yet another tablet series – Galaxy S Tablet. This tablet will have the most premium hardware and design to lure the top performance aspiring consumers. The Galaxy S Tablet is expected to have a 10-inch AMOLED display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. This high resolution AMOLED display is powered by the octa-core Samsung Exynos 5420 mobile chipset, paired with 3 GB RAM. Loaded with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Galaxy S Tablet runs the latest Magazine UX version optimized to work smoothly with the Mali-T628 GPU powered graphics.
Measuring 6.6 mm thick, the Galaxy S Tablet features the perforated back panel like the one in Galaxy S5. At the rear rests a camera with an LED flash under it. The tablet also seems to have integrated the Finger Print sensor for security.
The Galaxy S Tablet is expected to be available for pre-orders from this month end.
