The Nokia D1C has been in the news for quite a while now related to its rumours and bench-marking website appearances. Now for the first time images of Nokia D1C have surfaced online on Chinese social media platform, Weibo, usually a good predictor of eventual accuracy.
As per the Weibo user, there will be two variants, one will be a basic/standard model which will have a metal Frame and poly-carbonate colored back panel. The back panel will be available in Black and White colour options. Whereas the premium model will have all-metal unibody design and will also house a fingerprint sensor in its home button. Further, premium model will come in Gold colour.
Earlier, the Android powered Nokia D1C was spotted on GFXBench, GeekBench and AnTuTu bench-marking websites.
As per the listings, the Nokia D1C features a full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution). It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, which is paired with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage. The Nokia D1C runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. It sports a 16-megapixel auto-focus primary camera (while in AnTuTu it was listed with 13-megapixel unit) with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Further, as per listing, the tablet offers Single SIM slot, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, Accelerometer, Digital compass, Gyroscope, Proximity, Light sensor and Pedometer.
Further, as per earlier listing on GeekBench, the Nokia D1C got 667 in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 3229.
If reports are to be believed then Nokia is expected to unveil its first-ever Android smartphones during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
