Images of an unannounced Xiaomi smartphone, with codename Meri, has been leaked online. As per reports, this smartphone could be dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 5C. The images were shared by the user, @jumping cute tiger, on Chinese social media platform,Weibo. The user also revealed that the new phone will have a Mediatek Helio P20 chip and 3GB of RAM and will have a price similar to older Mi 5s.
The leaked images indicates the the phone will have a metal unibody design with a 2.5D glass display. At the back, one can clearly sees the single camera setup with LED flash on the top left side of the phone. The phone will also house an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which will be integrated on the home button. Further, as per images, phone has the power button and volume rocker on the left side.
One of the images shows the ‘about phone section’ of the upcoming smartphone phone. As per image, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, which will be paired with 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Further, the smartphone will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under MIUI 8.6.9.6 and will have a VoLTE support as well.
