One of the decade old instant messengers – ICQ (I Seek You) will soon arrive for the Windows Phone 7 mobile platform finally. The Russian Mail.ru Group has finally announced that the ICQ Mobile for WP7.x based devices will soon be made available from the Windows Marketplace. The ICQ Mobile client is already available for iOS, Android, Symbian, BlackBerry, Java and even through mobile web-app platforms.
The ICQ Messaging services allows users to send offline messages, SMS, group chats, resumeable file transfer, greetings, multi-player games and much more. The ICQ Mobile App has been available for several leading mobile platforms but Windows Phone. Finally since the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is available to all users, Mail.ru Group has announced their plans to bring the ICQ Mobile for Mango devices.
The ICQ Mobile for Windows Phone 7.5 will support multiple accounts of different services like Google, Classmates and other to let the users have one messenger for all their contacts. The ICQ Mobile application would be available as free for Windows Phone 7 users.
The ICQ Mobile will join the several Instant Messaging applications available on Windows Phone platform but being one of the oldest applications, it does have the leverage of large user base.
