iBall Slide 3G Q81 tablet with 8 inch display launched for Rs 7,999

The device features Intel Atom 1GHz quad-core 64-bit processor.

Indian handset and tablet manufacturer, iBall has launched a new tablet under its Slide-series which is named as iBall Slide Q81and is priced at Rs 7,999.

The new iBall tablet has an 8 inch touchscreen with 1280×800 pixels resolution, a 1 GHz 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom X3 processor, 1 RAM, 8 GB built in memory and a 64 GB micro SD card slot. This 5.1 Lollipop operating system based tablet offers a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The tablet gets the power from 4000 mAh Li-Po battery.

The 3G Q81 offers single SIM slot with a voice-calling functionality, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 4.0, and micro-USB. This iBall Slide 3G Q81 comes along with 1 year iBall warranty and support for multiple languages (over 15 regional languages), with both read and write support.

The tablet will be available for purchase starting later this month in January 2016 for Rs. 7,999 at leading retail stores.

Last week only iball launched a enabled tablet, iBall Slide Cuddle 4G tablet at Rs 9,999.

The iBall Slide Cuddle 4G tablet has a 6.95 inch IPS touchscreen with 1280×800 pixels resolution, a ARM Cortex A53 1 GHz 64-bit quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB built in memory and a 64 GB micro SD card slot. It is based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The highlight of the table is its 4G connectivity.

The iBall Slide Cuddle 4G sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet gets the power from 2800mAh Li-Po battery which claims to offer up to 11 hours of Talk-Time, up to 3 hours of 3G video support and approximately 14 hours of audio playing.
