Indian handset manufacturer, iBall has silently launched a Windows tablet. The new iBall Slide WQ77 was found listed online for Rs 6,999.
As per the listing, the tablet has an 8 inch display with 1024×768 pixels resolution. This IPS touchscreen has capacitive touch input. The 367 grams weighing tablet measures 136.3 x 204.3 x 8.3 mm and has a 4000 mAh Li-Po battery that claims to offer 4 hours and 50 minutes of video playback.
The iBall Slide WQ77, which is based on Windows 8.1 operating system, has a 1.83 GHz Intel Atom Z3735G Quad Core processor and 1 GB RAM. The tablet is upgradable to Windows 10 as well. It has 16 GB of internal storage as well while the expandable storage slot can hold a micro SD card of up to 64 GB.
The metallic blue colour tablet a 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. For connectivity, it has WiFi, Micro USB port and Bluetooth.
Earlier this year, iBall had launched the Slide i701 which at Rs 4,999 is the cheapest Windows tablet in India.
