Huawei has added a new member to its Y-series with the launch of Y6 (2018) smartphone. The smartphone is now listed on Huawei’s website, however, there is no information on its price and availability. The device is available in black, Blue and gold colour options.
The Huawei Y6 (2018) packs a unibody and features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. It is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while on the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The smartphone features face unlocking technology instead of the fingerprint sensor.
The Huawei Y6 (2018) runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s EMUI 8.0 running on top of it. The device is juiced by a 3000mAh battery and support connectivity options like 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, micro USB port and Dual-SIM support. The phone measures 152.4 x 73 x 7.8mm and weighs 150 grams.
