Huawei has added a new member to its Watch 2 series with the launch of Watch 2 Pro in China. The smartwatch is priced at Yuan 2588 (approx. Rs 25,371) and it is available for purchase from JD.com.
Starting with the design, it looks similar to the Huawei Watch 2 Classic, but there some key differences. First, the watch comes with eSIM support and it is equipped with a Chinese version of Android Wear 2.0, meaning that there would be no Google services in this one. The eSIM slot support 4G/3G/2G connections.
The Watch 2 Pro comes loaded a 1.2-inch AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 Processor along with 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The device comes equipped with a voice assistant that helps users to search the food, check navigation, ask the weather, view the schedule, set the alarm clock, send text messages and more. The watch has independent GPS and Beidou positioning for a real-time view of the location and one share it easily as well. The Huawei Watch 2 Pro comes with support for Huawei Pay, Alipay and WeChat Pay.
The smartwatch is backed by a 420mAh battery and comes loaded with heart rate sensor, pressure sensor, ambient light sensor, 3-axis gravity acceleration and compass geomagnetic sensor, 3-axis gyroscope sensor, and capacitive sensor. On the connectivity front, the device supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity options.
