Huawei unveiled MediaPad M2 10.0 with metal unibody design

The tablet will be available in two variants WiFi and LTE.

Huawei has introduced its new tablet, the MediaPad M2 10.0 at the ongoing Consumer Electronic Show. The tablet will be available in two variants WiFi and LTE. The MediaPad M2 10.0 will launch in the US market sometime in the first quarter of this year. However there is no information on its launch in India.

The highlight of the tablet is its aluminum alloy metal unibody design which comes with a sandblasted finish and also houses four Harman/Kardon speakers on the front to deliver excellent surround sound.

MediaPad M2 10.0 features a 10-inch, Full (1920x1200p) IPS display and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Kirin 930 processor. The silver colour model of M2 has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage while there is 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage in its gold color model. Both the models though offer expandable storage slot of 128GB capacity. The MediaPad M2 10.0 runs on 5.1 Lollipop operating system with EMUI 3.1 on top of it.

The tablet sports an 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The MediaPad M2 10.0 packs a powerful 6600 mAH battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, 4.0 and GPS, and also include a fingerprint sensor. The gold color model of the table comes with an Active (M-Pen).

The silver colour model’s WiFi version has a price tag of $349, while its version is priced at $399. On the other hand, the golden colour model of MediaPad M2 is priced at $419 and $469 for the WiFi and LTE models respectively.
