Huawei is all set to hold an event on September 1 in Berlin just ahead of IFA. While we already reported that the company is expected to reveal a new series of smartphones instead of Mate 9 which was rumoured earlier. Now Huawei Device CEO, Richard Yu has released teasers regarding two smartphone launches at its event on September 1.
Android Pure first spotted the teasers posted on Chinese social networking website Weibo. The two teasers, however, does not reveal any specs of the devices but indicates that one of the smartphones will feature a square rear camera case while the other sports a circular one. As per teaser, both the smartphones will probably have metal frames.
Meanwhile, popular leakster Evan Blass @evelaks has also revealed that Huawei will be launching two smartphones – Nova and Nova Plus under its Nova series, along with MediaPad M3 tablet at IFA. His tweet reads “Huawei Nova, Nova Plus, and MediaPad M3 launching at IFAâ€. Also as per media reports, the Nova smartphones will be mid-range devices and are designed for its female users.
Earlier, Huawei was expected to launch Huawei Mate 9 or the Mate S2 in the IFA event but Huawei executive denied the rumours. Instead, he said Huawei will launch a new mid-range smartphone series which has been confirmed by the latest teasers. The Huawei executive also claimed that the Mate series smartphones will be launched within next two months.
