Huawei, the Chinese handset manufacturer which is off late eyeing a bigger chunk of the Indian mobile phone market, has released images of its new quad core based smartphone – Ascend D1 Q.
The images of the handset were released by the Huawei marketing team through company’s official account at Chinese Micro-blogging website.
Notably, The Mobile Indian reported about the device earlier as well. Ascend D1 Q may be showcased by the company at the Mobile World Congress 2012 which is to be held in Barcelona (Spain) from February 26 onwards.
Huawei has already surprised the smartphone industry with the slimmest Android smartphone and now the company wishes to make its mark even in the quad-core mobile Processor based smartphones.
Nvidia has formally revealed that the quad-core mobile processor based smartphones will debut at the Mobile World Congress 2012. Amongst these, Huawei Ascend D1 Q might be one of them with quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor. This smartphone is likely to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Scant details were available from the promotional images put up by the Huawei’s Weibo account but the phone certainly appears worth looking at. Huawei is also reported of launching a tablet at the MWC 2012.
