Huawei just launched launched two smartphones – Huawei P9 and P9 Plus – at an event in London yesterday. Meanwhile, another Huawei smartphone, Huawei P9 Lite, was also spotted at the event but it missed the limelight. A Russian website, Hi-Tech Mail.ru, however spotted the handset and has posted its images along with its specifications.
As per the website, Huawei P9 Lite features a 5.2-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a pixel density of 423ppi. Sadly, there’s no information regarding the Chipset of the phone and the operating system of the device. Huawei P9 Lite comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128 GB via a micro SD card.
The device is said to come in two variants, 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM and is packed with a 3000 mAh battery. It is also said to have a fingerprint scanner at the back. Unlike Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, Huawei P9 Lite flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera LED flash and for selfies, the device has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It does not feature Leica camera lens.
However, above specifications have only been posted by the Russian website and Huawei is yet to officially announce the Huawei P9 Lite yet. We will definitely let you know if something comes on this. So stay tuned to the Mobile Indian for regular updates.
