Huawei P20 Pro, world’s first smartphone with triple-camera setup, and P20 Lite launched in India

The Huawei P20 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 64,999, while the P20 Lite is priced at Rs 19,999.

Huawei has today announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the Huawei P20 Pro, which is world’s first device to feature three camera lens. The company has also announced P20 Lite in India. The Huawei P20 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 64,999, while the P20 Lite is priced at Rs 19,999. Both the smartphones will be available exclusively from Amazon starting from May 03, 2018.

Huawei P20 Pro

The major highlight of the Huawei P20 Pro is the new bezel-less display with iPhone X-like notch along with three rear cameras that come loaded with a host of new features. The smartphone comes loaded with a 6.1-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:7:9. The phone delivers a of 408 PPI.

The latest smartphone features triple-camera setup with Leica branding, which is a first in a smartphone. The top houses an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 52mm focal length. Then there is a 40-megapixel RGB sensor with f/1.8 and focal length of 28mm and lastly, there is a 20-megapixel monochrome lens with f/1.6 aperture. This is not it, the smartphone also features 5x digital zoom, which is possible with 3x optical zoom from the telephoto lens and 2x from the main 40-megapixel sensor.

Huawei P20 Pro camera

The Huawei P20 Pro features a dedicated NPU for AI applications. Just like Honor View 10 or Mate 10 series, this smartphone also comes with AI-assisted camera features. The Master AI feature automatically identify more than 500 scenarios in 19 categories. The AI also enhances the picture brightness and saturation to give a more refined look.

The device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 processor along with Mali-G72 GPU. The phone is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device runs on 8.1 Oreo and it is backed by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. The Huawei P20 Pro supports USB Type-C port, WiFi, 5.0, GPS, NFC, and GPS.

Huawei P20 Lite

The Huawei P20 Lite features a 5.84-inch full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The display has a notch place on the top side just like what you see in the iPhone X. The phone is backed by octa-Core Kirin 659 processor, which is clocked at 2.36GHz with Mali T830-MP2 GPU.

Huawei P2o Pro

The phone features a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via card slot. It features a dual camera setup at the back with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for bokeh effect. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s EMUI 8.0 running on top of it.

The phone comes with face unlock feature as well as a fingerprint sensor at the back and it also features a 3000mAh battery with fast charging. On the connectivity front, it supports VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / Glonass, NFC and port. The phone measures 148 x 71.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 145 grams.
