Huawei is reportedly working on the next-generation of P-series, which it might announce at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. Now, some new information has been leaked online, which reveals the colour options, codenames and variants of the upcoming Huawei P20 series.
According to a leak by renowned tipster Roland Quandt, the next generation of P-series will be named as Huawei P20.Starting with the standard P20, the smartphone will come with a codename of ‘Emily’ and it will be available in Ceramic Black and Twilight colour options.

The Huawei P20 Plus is codenamed ‘Charlotte’ and it will be available in the same Ceramic Black and Twilight colour variants. Lastly, the Huawei P20 Lite is codenamed ‘Anne’ and it will be available in Midnight Black, Klein Blue and Sakura Pink colour options.
Recollecting some previous rumours, the company is also working on P20 Pro smartphone that will feature triple-camera setup along with iPhone X-like notch. Coming to the specifications, the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus are said to be powered by the latest Kirin 970 processors, similar to what we have seen in the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. Both the smartphones could come 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

The Huawei P20 Pro will run on a more powerful Kirin 975 processor, which gives a 15 percent increased performance as compared to Kirin 970 chipset. The smartphone is said to feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and there will another variant that will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The discrepancy could be because of the notch. The phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with a slightly upgraded version of EMUI 8.0.1. Further, the smartphone will support company’s Easy Projection that indicates that it will feature a USB 3.1 port.
